About
Built by inspectors. Designed for building owners.
Our Story
From inspection reports to condition intelligence.
Facade Inspect started inside Allied Commercial, one of Australia's leading multi-trade construction and remediation contractors. Our teams have inspected hundreds of building facades across Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, and Perth. They know what a cracked sealant joint looks like at 40 storeys and what a corroded fixing plate means for the structural envelope.
The problem was never the inspection itself. It was what happened after. Reports arrived as PDFs. They got emailed, filed, and forgotten. When the next inspection came around, nobody could find what had been flagged two years earlier. Defect trends were invisible. Remediation progress was tracked in spreadsheets, if it was tracked at all.
So we built a platform that fixes all of this. Facade Inspect captures every defect found by IRATA-certified rope access technicians, pins it to a permanent 3D model of the building, and drives it through a structured remediation pipeline. The record grows with every visit. It never gets lost, and it never goes stale.
Today, Facade Inspect serves building owners, facility managers, strata bodies, and insurers across Australia. Our inspectors still do the hard work on the ropes. But the data they collect now lives in a system that makes it genuinely useful for the people who need to act on it.
Our Approach
Specialists at every stage.
IRATA-Certified Inspectors
Every facade assessment is performed by rope access technicians certified to IRATA standards. Close-range visual, thermal, and sounding assessments at every level of the building. No drones guessing from a distance.
Engineer-Reviewed Reports
All inspection findings are reviewed and endorsed by qualified engineers with direct experience in facade defect classification and remediation scoping. The report carries weight with regulators and insurers.
3D Digital Records
Every defect is pinned to a permanent 3D model of your building, built from LiDAR scanning and photogrammetry. The record grows with each inspection. It never gets lost in email or filed and forgotten.
Remediation Management
Defects flow directly into work orders. Contractors are assigned, quotes captured, and progress tracked with photo evidence at every stage. From identification through to verified completion, all in one auditable thread.
National Presence

Platform Infrastructure
Built on a proven operations stack.
Facade Inspect does not operate in isolation. It connects to two core systems that handle project delivery and permanent record-keeping.
Opus
Every inspection commissioned through Facade Inspect creates a corresponding project in Opus, the project, scheduling, and finance management system used by Allied Commercial. This means your inspection is tracked alongside resource allocation, contractor coordination, and billing from day one.
opus.net.auVeritas
Inspection reports, 3D models, and defect records are stored permanently through Veritas, a ledger-backed document storage system. Each record gets a public verification code. If a regulator, insurer, or buyer needs to confirm a report is genuine and unaltered, they can verify it independently.
veritasledger.auStandards & Certifications
Every inspection built on Australian standards.
